  • None

  • Tighter pores, reduced pigmentation, and a dewy glow are just some of the benefits of the Vivier peel.

While non-invasive, the Vivier Peel is a medical-grade procedure. You may experience a slight stinging sensation. 2-4 days after treatment, you may also notice peeling or dry skin. Residual redness may last up to 3-5 days. The result is a more even skin tone, clearer, radiant, and more youthful complexion.

  • How many sessions will I require?

Although you will notice significant improvement immediately following your first peel, we recommend 3-6 treatments approximately 3-4 weeks apart for best results.

Are there any important pre- or post-treatment care protocols I should follow?

To avoid irritation and sensitivity, we ask you to avoid waxing (and other hair removal services) for 3 days before and 3-5 days following treatment.

Avoid anything that will exfoliate or dry out your skin (such as Retinol or AHA products).

Immediately following your Vivier Peel, your skin will likely feel shiny or sticky. It is important not to touch your face during this time. Similarly, you should avoid water, makeup or exercise during this period (approximately 8 hours) so that the product can neutralize.

  • The TX Jessner Plus peel solution induces a superficial peeling of the skin and is particularly effective for thick/oily/acne skin. One of the key ingredients in the TX Jessner Plus peel is salicylic acid. Salicylic acid deeply penetrates the skin and removes congested sebum and dead skin cells.

Like all other chemical peels, the TX Jessner Plus peel is done by brushing an acidic liquid onto the skin to remove the top layers and encourage new, younger looking skin to grow.

The TX Jessner Plus peel is typically a medium peel, which means it removes skin cells from the top layer of your skin, the epidermis, and the upper portion of the middle layer, the dermis. However, it can also be used as a superficial peel, which has a faster healing time but needs to be performed more often to get the results of a deeper peel.

  • Minimal

    • After the peel is applied you may experience a slight warmth or mild stinging sensation as the peel activates on your skin.

    • Safe - Non-invasive, minimal to no downtime.

    • Visible Results - reduced fine lines, diminished age spots, firms and tightens, restores your youthful glow.

    • 3 to 5 days prior to your peel - stop using any exfoliating products that may be drying or irritating to the skin.

    • Avoid products containing retinoids, acids (salicylic acid & AHAs) or benzoyl peroxide.

    • Avoid electrolysis, waxing, laser, or other hair removal procedures on your face.

    • Vivier peels have little to no downtime depending on the strength of peel chosen and condition of your skin. You may see some redness or light peeling approximately 48 hours after the treatment and this may last up to 5 days. The amount of sloughing experienced will vary depending on the condition of your skin and the home care products used. It is not an indication of the effectiveness of the treatment.

    • Your skin will be more sensitive to UV rays, so be sure to diligently apply and reapply a sunscreen with minimum SPF 30 and avoid direct sunlight whenever possible.

    • As any redness or peeling subside you will begin to see the youthful, glowing results of a Vivier Peel! Reduced fine lines increased luminosity, firmer and tighter skin, smoother texture and reduced dark spots.

    • A Vivier Professional Peel is suitable for anyone with Fitzpatrick skin types I-IV wanting to achieve healthier, more radiant skin. It is generally recommended to avoid chemical peels if you are pregnant or breastfeeding, actively taking oral acne medication or have extremely sensitive skin or compromised skin barrier.

    • Your skin care professional will verify if you are a good candidate for a professional peel during your consultation. They will evaluate which Vivier Professional Peel is right for your needs and may recommend a series of treatments to achieve your desired results.
